Role Overview
Antoniou & Associates LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to join our team in Cyprus. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to engage in both corporate law and litigation, contributing to high-impact legal strategies for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our firm’s success by combining expertise in corporate transactions with a strategic focus on litigation and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities
– Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
Take charge of representing clients in complex civil and commercial litigation. This includes preparing and presenting cases in court, arbitration, or mediation. Conduct in-depth case analysis, develop robust legal strategies, draft pleadings, and advocate for clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Provide clear, strategic advice on potential risks, strengths, and case scenarios to inform client decisions.
– Corporate Law Advisory:
Lead the formation of Cyprus companies and manage corporate transactions, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
– Corporate Governance:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of corporate documents, including contracts, agreements and legal opinions. Assist in the preparation and submission of documents to regulatory bodies such as the Registrar of Companies and Migration Department.
– Compliance & Regulation:
Ensure adherence to local and international legal frameworks. Conduct thorough legal research to stay ahead of changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
– A University Degree in Law.
– Membership in the Cyprus Bar Association.
– A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in corporate law, compliance, and litigation.
– Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing a legal team.
– Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
